Our Staff
We have qualified university trained and diploma trained staff in each room as well as a qualified chef.
All of our staff are bilingual and speak a variety of languages including Mandarin/Cantonese, Korean, Portuguese and Arabic/Lebanese/Albanian/Indian.
All staff also have Senior First Aid, Analphylaxis & Asthma, Child Protection, Food Safety & Menu Planning Training qualification.
In addition to ESL (Intensive English lessons), our teachers are also qualified to provide private art and music lessons.
Our educators are welcoming and understanding, who are experienced and qualified to tend to the needs of the centre, children and their families, as well as the community, to provide high quality care in accordance with the EYLF 2010 through their ongoing professional training and reflective practices.

Qualifications:
"I am the owner and Director of Daisy Learning Centre. Our service has been providing high quality early childhood education in Campsie since 2008. I have been working in the Early Childhood Education sector since 2004.
I was born in China and had been living in Singapore for 10 years before migrating to Australia. I can speak Mandarin."
Gina
Nominated Superivisor and Team Leader.
Qualifications:
She has been working in the Daisy leaning Centre over 13 years and is fluent in Korean.
She has two children, likes reading, travelling and swimming.
"I come from Korean background. I had been working in a hospital for 3 years especially, in the newborn baby room and delivery room in Korea.
What I believe is that children are unique, capable, curious, and wonder researchers, and all of them have potentials. My past working experiences as well as my beliefs and passion motivate and inspire myself to continue provide the best quality care and education to children in the Early childhood setting."

"My name is Charlie Sukkar. Some background information about me.. - I’m half Lebanese and Greek. - I have 4 brothers and I’m the oldest.
I have completed my Diploma and Certificate 3 as a traineeship at my recent childcare centre. I have 3 years experience in the Early Childhood industry. Previously, I have been working in the Hairdressing & Barbing industry for 3 years.
What motivates me is a fundamental drive towards the care of children. I’m the oldest sibling of 4 young brothers and take an active approach in my role as a sister. I can’t wait to meet and great you all!"
Mara Moura
Educational Leader and Team Leader.
Qualifications:
My name is Mara and I hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education & Care (Birth-5). I was born in Portugal and have been living in Australia since 2012. I started working at Daisy Learning Centre back in 2013.
I believe that children are capable, possess many strengths and I see play as a very important tool for learning. My goal is to make every child feel safe, secure, and supported and provide them with the skills, confidence and knowledge required to reach their full potential.
David
David is a semi retired financial accountant.
He looks after some of our bookkeeping and administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
"Played field hockey for about 20 years with Ryde Hunter Hill Hockey Club and served as Secretary and Treasurer for 5 years. I enjoy all sports but especially cricket. Looking forward to semi-retirement with the Daisies."
